Getting to the restaurant is already an experience in itself: nestled halfway up Petrin hill, you can reach it by using the recently revamped funicular from Ujezd. Once up the steps, you will find the restaurant is tucked away in between the trees, with a stylish patio in front of the main building. Because of the large windows offer a spectacular view of the Prague castle, the cupolas of the churches in Malostranska below and the river with the old town beyond, the restaurants is a good option for winter as well for enjoying the panoramic view. The menu offers a good mix of Czech and international cuisine, with the zucchini patties a particular vegetarian highlight, and a respectable wine list. However, the star of the show is definitely the view and the setting.
