going to Kalina's was such a good choice, the setting is lovely, next to an old Abbaye/ National Gallery, with garden sitting under an old tree, far from the madness of Prague's crowd, in perfect quiet and peaceful environment. They offer daily choices and we picked some and then went from the Menu. I had the most deliciously simple 3 color tomatoes salad, I would have liked the plate... then lamb chops with heavenly tomato puree and green peas, and to finish a plum cake like my mother used to make. We drank a bottle of french red wine : Cahors, fresh with a hint of fresh red fruit and I called it a perfect evening. My dinner companion had the specialty of the house : Sweetbread, unbelievably delicious and we share every dish. The dress code is casual, the ambiance layedback, especially if you dine outside, we saw a young man wearing shorts. in all we had a lovely time .
