Restaurant U Modré kachničky 1 is housed in a 16th Century Baroque building found in one of the charming little streets of the Malá Strana area. You will enjoy the traditional Czech cuisine, duck specialities, perfectly prepared wild game and just as delicious homemade desserts.
Chef of the restaurant is the experienced Michael Vana, who worked at the renowned Grand restaurant in Malmö and was preparing delicacies for the Swedish and Norwegian kings. But with air an air of humility he says „the names are irrelevant as even Billy from Nusle will get from me the same food as a king“.
The restaurant is famous for its distinctive retro style in the spirit of the thirties. The interior is furnished with antique furniture, hand-drawn wallpaper and lots of paintings.
